Brittany Murphy's music may be released now after her death according to some music executives that want to release some previously unreleased songs made by Brittany Murphy.
Three years ago, Brittany Muphy had a pretty successful song with Paul Oakenfeld called Faster Kill Pussycat, and she also sang covers of Somebody to Love, and Boogie Wonderland from the 2006 film Happy Feet.
Sources told the E! Online reporter that music executives are digging to see what else they can find.
"Obviously this isn't a Michael Jackson thing, but people are definitely interested in Brittany and her story," one executive tells me. "Depending on what she may have recorded and what kind of quality it is, she could end up having a hit song or two."
Brittany Murphy actually used to be in a band called Blessed Soul in the early 90s, which she formed with 24 star Eric Balfour.

Here's the trailer for director Kevin Smith's new flick, "Cop Out" (formerly titled "A Couple of Dicks"). The movie stars Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as longtime NYPD partners who find themselves up against a merciless, memorabilia-obsessed gangster while on the trail of a stolen, rare, mint-condition baseball card. Jimmy (Willis) is the veteran detective whose missing collectible is his only hope to pay for his daughter's upcoming wedding, and Paul (Morgan) is his "partner-against-crime" whose preoccupation with his wife's alleged infidelity makes it hard for him to keep his eye on the ball. "Cop Out," also starring Adam Brody, Kevin Pollak, Guillermo Diaz, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Seann William Scott, opens on February 26, 2010.

U2 will release Artificial Horizon, a limited edition remix album containing some previously unreleased material, in 2010. The album will be available to those joining the band's official fan club.
The band's website says the album will be "mailed to qualifying subscribers" beginning in late January. No official track list has been announced, but the 13-song album includes Jacknife Lee's remix of "Fast Cars," David Holmes' remix of "Beautiful Day," the Fish Out Of Water mix of "Get On Your Boots," a Grand Jury Mix of "If God Will Send His Angels" and Trent Reznor's remix of "Vertigo."

Via The Iladelph comes word that Rob McElhenney—probably better known as Mac on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia—has bought a bar in Philadelphia's Old City neighborhood along with his wife Kaitlin Olson, who also plays Dee on the show.
On the popular FX show, McElhenney owns a bar with the other characters, and the fictional bar is called Paddy's Pub. To add to the "reality mirroring fiction" angle, the real-life bar will be called Mac's Olde Towne Tavern. Given the show's insane popularity in Philly, the bar is likely to be a huge hit and cash cow out of the gate. That's what you call striking while the iron is hot.

Vogue Names Alexa Chung As Most Stylish British Woman

But her slender build hasn't stopped judges at Vogue.com naming the 26-yearold best-dressed.

As funeral arrangements for his daughter fall into place, Brittany Murphy's father says he had no idea how sick she reportedly was—psychologically or physically.
"I was very shocked by it," Angelo Bertolotti tells E! News. "I can't believe it really. It happened so fast; I'm just trying to figure it all out right now. I'm very upset by it."
Bertolotti, who hadn't spoken to the Uptown Girls star for more than a year and who had never met her husband, Simon Monjack, says he will not be attending Murphy's funeral tomorrow evening at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills.
"If I wanted to go, I would go, but I don't want to see her that way," he says. "She was flawless to me. She was a little bright child. I have only good memories about her. She's a memory to me now. To me she's off making a movie somewhere."
The 83-year-old Florida resident says he had no idea his daughter was dealing with any problem besides diabetes, much less that her health was seemingly deteriorating.
"She had a couple of issues but nothing was that serious," Bertolotti says. "Her mother never told me anything like that. She never said she had anything like was listed in the papers."
The list of drugs that investigators allegedly confiscated from her home, including the anti-anxiety med Klonopin and the painkiller Hydrocodone, surprises him, too.
As for reports that Murphy willed her entire estate to her mother, Sharon, Bertolotti says he wouldn't be surprised if that's the case.
"They were very, very close," he says.

Respondents were asked which celebrity they would like to see being proposed to, and actress Aya Ueto, 24, was the most popular choice, with people saying she’d look the best walking with her father down the aisle, among other reasons. In the men’s category, people were asked who they would like to see doing the proposing, and young actor Haruma Miura, 19, finished first, with one of the reasons being that he seems like the kind of guy who would choose his words carefully.

I was browsing Gametrailers when i found this trailer for the new clueless game to be released on the iPHONE. Game developed by Paramount DIGITAL.
There's no release date, but the trailer popped out of nowhere today, and the game looks pretty simple and it probably doesn't take THAT long to program a game for the iPhone. Either that, or a horrible coincidence with timing. As one member of GT says, "Epic Timing fail, stay classy, Paramount."

"Contrary to what has been falsely reported, Jennifer Hudson is not pregnant," her rep Lisa Kasteler says. "Jennifer leaves in April for South Africa where she will portray Winnie Mandela in the feature film, Winnie."
"It is a commitment she is excited about and takes very seriously," the rep adds. "Jennifer is currently in the studio recording her second album and this is the only delivery she is looking forward to in 2010."
The Oscar winner is already busy with one little one at home – son David was born in August.

A new initiative from youth voting campaign Rock the Vote is encouraging young people to “hold out for health care” by refusing to have sex with people who don’t support health care reform.
Rock the Vote, an organization which works to “engage and build the political power of young people,” is currently collecting signatures for the celebrity-endorsed petition to “hold out for health care.”
“We pledge ourselves to the health and liberty of young Americans and to government for the people … and to never fucking you if you are against us,” the video announces. “We will vote against you, work against you, and once again, just in case you forgot, never ever, never ever, never ever, never ever fuck you.”
The strategy strikes me as counter-intuitive. After all, what do Republicans hate even more than public health care? Young people having premarital sex! If I were a Republican, I would love this Rock the Vote campaign. It reads like a conservative porn script: No health care, plus a bunch of young hot chicks sexily announcing that they’re not going to give it up!
But I’m not a Republican, so I find a few aspects of this Rock the Vote campaign unsettling that have nothing to do with the young people admitting to F-wording each other. First, Rock the Vote President Heather Smith told FOX News that the fucking-withholding petition aims to remind the youth of America that “they have a stake and a say” in the debate over health care. Huh. I thought young people had a stake in the health care debate because they’re human beings with a civil right to engage in our country’s political process. But I guess it’s actually because they’re hot and like to fuck. Second, the unsettling sexual stereotypes: According to Rock the Vote, women are sexy teases; men are insatiable buffoons. Finally, this line, meant to to ward off a skeezy Tea Party guy who wants to fuck our hot liberal heroine: ”I’m on my period. I don’t have a vagina.” Would you like some transphobia with your abstinence?

Kate Gosselin has been fired off of her new television show! The reality show mom was reportedly canned for being “too controversial” for the executives. Back in September, Kate was chosen as one of the hosts for a new pilot called Momlogic. She joined Paula Deen, Lee Woodruff and former Early Show co-host Rene Syler.
The show was compared to “The View for working moms.” Sources says it’s struggling to stay afloat. It is still on the schedule to be sold at the convention where TV shows are pitched, but an insider said there is little chance it will.
A behind-the-scenes source tells RadarOnline, “There was a lot of arguing.”Apparently Kate wasn’t ok with Paula Deen being the main host of the show.
But even if Kate isn’t a part of this show, she has her own thing coming up the ranks. The show’s concept hasn’t been made public yet, but it’s a show that will star Kate and only Kate. We’re sure from now on, that’s the only way she’ll have it!

| Stephen King's "IT" script is almost finished |

Back in March, Warner Bros announced that it will bring Stephen King's landmark horror novel "It" to the big screen. The novel is set in 1958 and 1985, though the feature version will be set in the present day.
Collider has now caught up with producer Dan Lin, who revealed that the studio is still moving forward with the project and he expected to get his hands on the script within the next few days. "'It' is probably the next script that I'm expecting actually over Christmas," he said, adding: "Dave Kajganich (Invasion) is writing it."
Kajganich previously revealed that the film will be R-rated and that the studio doesn't want any sequels. "[This] means we can really honor the book and engage with the traumas that these characters endure," he said. "I will have to kill a few darlings to make that happen."
The story follows a group of kids called the Losers Club that encounter a creature called It, which preys on children and whose favorite form is that of a sadistic clown called Pennywise. When the creature resurfaces, the kids are called upon to regroup again, this time as adults, even though they have no memory of the first battle.

I love the book so much, and I can't wait for the remake. I hope it's closer to the book. As long as they leave out a certain part between Beverly and the boys in the sewer, anyway.

LOS ANGELES -- Private funeral services for actress Brittany Murphy will be held Thursday at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills Cemetery, according to her family.
Murphy's body was transferred to the cemetery for burial after an autopsy was completed on the young star Monday. Murphy will be laid to rest during a "strictly private" daytime service.
Many Hollywood celebrities are buried at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, including Bette Davis, Lucille Ball, John Ritter, Gene Autry, Jack Webb, Telly Savalas and Buster Keaton.
Meantime -- L.A. County Coroner's officials are looking into how the celebrity web site TMZ obtained details on prescription drugs contained in an investigator's report on the death of Brittany Murphy.
Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter says he doesn't know how TMZ obtained the confidential report and he's concerned other aspects of the investigation could be leaked.
TMZ reported that numerous prescription medications were found at Murphy's Hollywood Hills home, according to notes written by an investigator at the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.
This is the second time this year the coroner's office has dealt with leaks in a high-profile case. This summer, sheriff's investigators looked into whether coroner's employees leaked or sold information from Michael Jackson's death investigation.
According to the details obtained by TMZ, a check of the nightstands in Murphy's bedroom revealed large amounts of prescription medication in the decedent's name," according to notes written by Investigator Blacklock.
There were also numerous empty prescription bottles in Murphy's husband's name, her mother's name and unidentified third party names.
According to the notes, the medications included Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins.
No illegal drugs were found.
