Man ive been sooo fucking busy, but im so happy that i am. We finally started to record Nicola last Saturday. It was a slow start becuase of the little pre prod we had done because of him living in venice and us being here, but its really teeing off now. Were are also feeling the pressure a little since we have 10 more days to complete 5 more songs. very do-able, but long hours. Some sneaky peaks soon.
Mid terms are around again so in between all the studio hours i have to sneak in some studying which has bluntly failed.
I had the great pleasure to hang out with Melissa Auf Der Maur. What a fucking cool chick, i can talk to her forever. anyhow, in the end we exchanged numbers and will probably be working together for her next upcoming album. Wouldnt that fucking just straight up rock.

ahhh March..
you begin to look ahead. Winds still blowing hard and snow falling like crazy whenever it wants too. But, you dont care becuase you know it will all be over soon. Every TV show shifts over to cali or cancun for 2 weeks so they can broadcast in the sun and of course, its National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Besides all those "fun" things, the reason i love March is becuase of one day where the crime, fighting, bitching(to canada), and where the french ppl actually try to speak english to us in this city -- yup, the St.Pattys day parade. Amazing what happens to the city when you can drink anywhere and its entirety is intoxicated. See you fuckers at the parade.

Well after 11 weeks, our time is finally done at 451 Studio. The
session's went great and working with The Citizens was mad fun. The
best part out of all this was working with my mentor, Nelly V. Besides
being an fucking awsome producer he happens to be the coolest and
nicest cat i have ever met. Even though we made promises to work with
each other in the future, it was still rather sad to part ways. Its
crazy how close you can get to people in a short period of time.
I bought a saxophone!! I figured i can throw it in my music somewhere. I
really wanted to pick up a trombone but its to late for that..
Speaking about my music, the project is off to a great start, i've
completed a few songs. I finally get to do my own thing and im happy im
in the driver seat for this one. Although I will have a bunch of guests on it ; storytellers, violinists,
psychopaths and whatnot. If you like Recoil and Baxter well, you'll like Underground Masquerade.
ok, that and a bunch of stuff is going on but i really dont feel like being boring.
